Faith & Endurance

“When troubles come your way, consider it an opportunity for great joy. For you know that when your faith is tested, your endurance has a chance to grow” (James 1:2-3)

God blesses those who patiently endure testing and temptation. We have to remember to encourage ourselves and continue P.U.S.H.ing (Praying until Something Happens)

It is not like it is a surprise that something is going to happen. For the Word of God tells us 31 But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint (Isaiah 40:31).

Just because the prosperity God promised is not in clear sight right now does not mean it is not coming. That does not mean we give up on the Word of God. Prayer and patience can get us quite far. God did not make us intelligent and creative beings just because he was having a good day that day. The dreams and visions God has given us were meant for an ordained purpose. They were meant to magnify His name and to bring glory to His kingdom. Those dreams, visions, and goals are meant to be manifested into reality. If a lost soul is able to see what God has done for us, then they will see that God can do it for them also.

It is important that we look to God to guide us through every aspect of our lives. For His Word tells us “that as long as we commit our ways to the Lord, and trust in Him; He will bring it to pass” (Psalm 37:5).

When things do not happen the way we want them to and move the way we want them to move we will allow our emotions to discourage us and we start to lose our endurance. We start to question God’s word.

We have to remember that we are not walking this walk alone. God is with us. He will lead and carry us even in the mist of troubles and struggles. The Word tells us that “Weeping may endure for a night but joy comes in the morning (Psalm 30:5).

God blessed us with the power of choice. It is our choice to choose when our morning comes. There does not have to be “light” shining through your window to declare it is morning time. We have to allow our faith to lead us. We have to continue to train like we are training for the 2016 Summer Olympics. We have to stay focused and stay in the Word of God. We have to pray and meditate on a consistent basis in order to stay tuned in with God. That will keep our endurance at an all time high.

Just because we cannot see it right now…. at this moment is no reason to allow our faith to be swayed. God makes no mistakes and everything according to His will takes place for an ordained purpose. It is imperative that we not lose sight of our purpose.

When we feel our faith being weaken we have to remind ourselves that God will never leave us nor forsake us (Deuteronomy 31:6). We cannot fold under pressure. If we stay focused on the Lord’s will for our lives He will bless us with perfect peace and a sound mind.
Today I challenge you to claim the prosperity that God has for you!
Just knell down and pray and let God have His way!

Blessings
