Fear Is The Enemy’s Perversion of Faith

Too many times we doubt the destiny that God has for us. God created each and every one of us for an ordained purpose. The enemy wants us to believe all the lies that he tells us. We have to stop listening to the lies of the enemy. It is his job to tell us we will never amount to anything. He will tell us that we will never get any farther than where we are now. He will tell us that the dreams we have are just that; dreams that will never be manifested into reality.
However, the Word tells us that Satan is a liar and the father of lies {John 8:44}. The word also tells us that the enemy comes to steal and kill and destroy {John 10:10}. His agenda is to steal our joy, kill our dreams, and destroy our souls.
We have been blessed with the Word of God. Satan runs from the Word; he fears it. So we have to start using the Word of God as our armor in order to defend ourselves from the lies of the enemy and to protect our dreams.
We have to be daring enough to embrace the dreams, goals, and visions God has put into our hearts. We have to believe the Word of God. We have to believe in ourselves, believe in our dreams, and most importantly we have to believe that God can do the impossible.
It all starts with the way we think. It starts with our mind. That is the first place the enemy tries to attack. Why? Because if he can get in our heads, if he can put negative thinking in our minds then he can control our thought process. Of course he would prefer for us to think that we are useless and that we are just living just to be living. If we allowed those thoughts to consume us; the thought that we are living with no purpose at all, then that will reflect in our actions. We will lack motivation, inspiration, and we will neglect to be prayerful.
When we believe the lies of the enemy we become fearful. We fear disappointment and we fear sacrifice. God did not give us the spirit of fear. God has given each of us a life of purpose. It is time to take back our joy and peace of mind that we allowed the enemy to steal. It is time to revive each and every dream that we allowed the enemy to kill. It is time to not only get in the Word of God but to stand firm on it as well and nurture our souls.
