5 Habits of Successful People


Earlier in October, Forbes posted a list of the ‘5 Things Super Successful People Do Before 8am’. While the list is seemingly simple, I took a week to test how my day when when doing all 5 of these things before 8a in comparison to my previous habit of just doing them however they fell in the course of the day. There was definitely a new level of calm that I carried through the day and the energy that came from the early morning workout absolutely helped set the tone for the day.

  1. Exercise
  2. Map Out Your Day
  3. Eat a Healthy Breakfast
  4. Visualization
  5. Make Your Day Top Heavy

#5 made the most difference in the flow of the day. By adding the heavier and more difficult tasks to the beginning of the day there was more energy to complete them versus at the end of the day when you are losing steam.
